The Prydniprovskyі Metallurgical Applied College is one of the largest educational institutions in the region, founded in 1930 to train personnel for industrial enterprises of the region. It is the only educational institution in Ukraine that trains specialists only at the expense of the state budget. At the beginning of its existence, the institution had the status of an Electromechanical and Metallurgical Technical School, offering training in metallurgical, mechanical and electrical engineering departments. Throughout its history, VET institution has changed its name and structure several times, expanding the range of specialties in accordance with the needs of industry.
Today, thePrydniprovskyі Metallurgical Applied College is a leading educational institution in its region that trains qualified specialists who meet the modern challenges of the labor market and the needs of the region's industries, especially during the reconstruction of the country.

Teaching Staff
High-quality teaching staff of VET institution is the key to students' success. This is a team of professionals who not only transfer knowledge to students, but also form them as individuals, motivate them to self-development and help to achieve their goals. The college's teachers have the appropriate pedagogical qualifications, regularly improve their professional level, and attend conferences and seminars. The teachers systematically implement new technologies and teaching methods, allowing them to be aware of current trends in their field.
High-quality teaching staff:
the highest qualification category – 29 individuals, of which 13 have the pedagogical title "teacher-methodologist " and 1 candidate of technical sciences;
the first qualification category – 10 individuals;
the second qualification category – 12 individuals;
specialist – 8 individuals.
All teaching staff holds higher education degrees and regularly advances their qualifications.
Students
Today, VET institution provides educational services to 815 education seekers.
Students of the educational institution are multiple winners of annual competitions of professional skills, olympiads. They are active creators of their own future and the future of society. This is a generation that is not afraid to express their opinions, take the initiative and change the world for the better. VET institution has an established system of student self-governance, our leaders initiate projects, learn to manage, organize and achieve common goals. They actively engage in scientific research, participate in conferences, publish the results of their work and represent our institution at student scientific conferences. This demonstrates that young people strive not only to acquire knowledge but also to create new ideas. Students are increasingly aware of their social responsibility. They are actively involved in volunteer projects, contribute to the development of their community and solve social issues.
The students of educational institution take an active part in regional and city charity events and are members of charitable movements. Sports, arts and culture are areas in which students also express themselves. They participate in sports competitions, cultural events and create their own creative projects. In 2025, members of the student parliament became finalists in the grant competition "Workshops for the Development of Student Self-Government Bodies "aGAIN 3.0" in the United Nations Development Program.
International cooperation
Agreements on cooperation have been concluded with higher education institutions: the National Technical University "Dnipro Polytechnic," the Central Ukrainian National Technical University, the Dnipro State Technical University, and the Institute of Innovative Education of Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture; as well as with industrial enterprises: PJSC "KAMET-STEEL," PJSC "YUZHKOX," and PJSC "Oril-Leader."
Prydniprovskyі Metallurgical Applied College strives to become one of the leaders in the field of VET, known for its innovative educational programs, highly professional teaching staff and close links with business. VET institution aims to become a center of intellectual development of the region, providing young people with the opportunity to realize their potential.The main direction of cooperation is the modernization of the educational institution’s material and technical base to enhance the qualifications of students, which will improve the quality of training students and ensure their successful integration into the professional environment.
